Tule kuulemaan lääkäreiden rauhan- ja ilmastotyöstä meillä ja maailmalla! Peace & Climate Cafe LSV:n toimistolla Helsingissä torstaina 17.10. klo 18–20 – Tervetuloa!

International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW):n edustajat Stella Ziegler Saksasta ja Bimal Khadka Nepalista tulevat kertomaan omasta työstään ja lääkäreiden toimintamahdollisuuksista rauhan ja ympäristön saralla.

Ohjelmassa on alustuspuheenvuoroja rauhantyöstä ja ilmastotyöstä sekä ulkomaisilta vierailta että Suomesta. Sen jälkeen vapaamuotoista yhdessäoloa, musiikkia, tarjoiluista nauttimista sekä mahdollisuus tehdä itselle plakaatti mielenosoituksia varten.

Tarjolla on pientä purtavaa ja halutessasi voit itsekin tuoda jotain pientä yhteisesti jaettavaksi.

Aika: Torstaina 17.10. klo 18–20

Tapahtuma järjestetään Maailman Lääkäriliiton WMA:n Helsingissä 16.–19.10. pidettävän maailmankongressin yhteydessä.

Peace & Climate Cafe in Helsinki on October, 17th

Welcome to learn about the peace and climate work of doctors both in Finland and around the world at the Peace & Climate Cafe at LSV’s office in Helsinki on Thursday, October 17th, from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Representatives from the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW), Stella Ziegler from Germany and Bimal Khadka from Nepal, will share their work and the opportunities for doctors to contribute to peace and environmental efforts.

The program includes presentations on peace and climate work from both international guests and speakers from Finland. Afterwards, there will be informal socializing, music, refreshments, and the opportunity to create a protest sign for demonstrations.

Light snacks will be provided, and if you wish, you are welcome to bring something small to share.

When: Thursday, October 17th, from 6 PM to 8 PM
Where: The LSV office at Globaalikeskus, address: Siltasaarenkatu 4, 7th floor, Helsinki

The event is organized in conjunction with the World Medical Association (WMA) World Congress, held in Helsinki from October 16th to 19th.
